Your Voice Matters!
As an actress, so much of my life has centered around putting myself out there for others to say “Yes” or “No” to. From submitting for auditions to securing representation to the auditions themselves, the results often feel arbitrary and WAY outside my control.
There are ways to get around the negative effect this has on one’s psyche — LOT’S of reframing, reconstruction of expectation, full acceptance of the industry’s realities and full acceptance of oneself, surrounding yourself with supportive people, & a good therapist.
There’s also another way — an empowering way — a way to rebuild confidence in yourself — a way to put your unique stamp on your own work, and work without waiting for that “Yes” or “No…”
